Apple is set to release an update to it’s Mac OS X Leopard that encompasses over 100 fixes including graphical issues, DVI problems, PDF printing issues and a multitude of Mobile ME synching problems. The update is currently in the testing phase.
Microsoft, today, released fixes for 28 flaws, six of which are considered critical. Among the critical fixes are a fix for the Visual Basic 6(!) run time affect ActiveX; a vulnerability in the Windows GDI; Office vulnerabilities and more. Other updates affect SharePoint and Windows Media Components. The fixes should appear in Windows Update.
Microsoft also updated it’s Live Mesh this week. Some of the improvements I’ve noticed are speed increases and, for remote access, the background on the remote machine now displays.
Nothing more to see here. Move along.
